The Rockies offense came alive in the 4th inning, trailing by 4, to score 6 runs. Bart Lawyer helped lead the attack, going 2-3 at the plate and scoring a run. Kevin Spitz (1-2, 1 RBI) blast to the left field fence plated the tying run in the 5th inning. Leland Boutilier (1-2, 2 RBI) walked with the bases loaded to give the Rockies the lead.
