The Canton Royals opened the 2018 season today with a win over the Saugus Black Sox (formerly Billerica Warriors). After battling in the cold to a 1-1 game, the Royals offense scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th capped off by a two run double by newcomer Shawn Clapp. The Royals take on the Lawrence Yankees next Sunday in Canton.
