A's TOP O's IN SEASON OPENER; RATHAPOOM BRINGS THE BOOM. Angelo Guisado picked up the win in his A's debut, striking out 7 while scattering just 3 hits. Kyle Breidenstine and Jason Kurtz followed in relief, each tossing a perfect inning. Patrick Vetter got things started with an RBI single in the first. But Rathapoom "Buddha" Asdornvuttikrai was the star of the game on offense, belting a triple and two deep doubles. Jay Lamoureux added a 2-RBI double, and Nick Tapper went 2 for 3 with a double.
