Well played game despite the rain, which by the 6th made it impossible to continue. Newton got an early lead with 2 runs in the first, all they needed to win. Their pitchers scattered 3 hits the rest of the way. Newton added an insurance run in the top of the 6th on a walk to D'Andrea, advancing on an error and a sac bunt, and scoring on a sac fly. Like oldtime baseball.
