Braves win opener in a very good game 4-3. Offense was led by Doug Flutie 4-4, rbi singles by Strassman, and Vallerand, and a long walk-off single to left by Dave Pelletier. Mike Moore went 5.2 strong innings on the mound, and Franz Strassman shuts down Danvers the rest of the way to pick up the win. Hansen and Manderson had 2 hits each for Danvers and Mitchell pitched well.
