The Spinners opened their 2010 season by getting a big win against the 2009 MABL Champion Cutters. Both starting pitchers were on a roll the first 3 innings giving up no runs, then in the 4th the Spinners would break it open. The big inning was started by leadoff batter Mike Mori (2 for 4, 1 SB) followed by Nick Bonard (3 for 4, 1 double), the next few batters would walk and after a few more hits the Spinners put up 5 runs. Cutters would fight back putting up 4 in the bottom of the 4th but Spinners starting pitcher Kevin Brennan would get through the next 3 innings without giving up another run leading the Spinners to victory.
