In a hard fought game the Braves scored first, and held the lead for 8 innings over the much improved Dorchester Dogers. The Dogers came alive in the late innings, scoreing 1 in the seventh,2 in the 8 unearned, and 2 in the ninth unearned as the Braves struggled defesively. Both sides played solid baseball most of the game, and the outcome was decided in the 10th frame by a rookie/vetran combo. Rookie Robbie Lordi smacked a double off the Dorchester pitcher to center field and after consecutive walks, Eric Wright singled him home from 3rd base with nobody out in the 10th inning. Joe LeBlanc came in to pitch for the Braves in the 9th, and after some early jitters, settled down for the 2 inning Victory.
