Newcomer Bo Gillette leads the O's to an Opening Day win, allowing 1ER in a CG 4-hitter with 7K's. The Brewers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the 1st on an RBI single by Joe Musselman. Brewers pitcher Mike Gentile was in command early on, with 6 K's through the first 3 innings. But the O's got to him in the 4th, capped by an RBI single by Jordan Krall and a 2RBI double by Chris Buckley. The Brewers mounted a spirited comeback effort in the 7th. But with the tying run at the plate, Seth Desilets made a pretty over-the-shoulder catch in deep left-center to end the game and seal the victory for the O's.
