Down 5 zip in the 5th, Grossman battles back scoring three on a bases clearing opposite field wall ball double by Andrew Tenaglia before scoring three more in the 6th on RBI's by Tim Reinhardt and Nick Crivello. Ken Henry had retired the first eight in order for Palmer before Tom Wells got the first Grossman hit in the third. But the Grossman bats remained quiet until the 5th. After giving up five runs on five hits in the second, Mike Thater cruised through the 6th before giving way to Joe McNamara in the 7th.
