Pitchers duel. Matt Sliney for the DirtDogs pitched 7 innings, allowed 1 run and got the win. Mike Dicienza came in for the extra inning and earned the save. Bonham pitched a very good game for Canton. In the top of the eight Dan McCarthy lead off with a strikeout, however the catcher miss played the third strike and he reached first. A few pitches later there was a passed ball and Dan made it to second. The DirtDogs brought on Mike DiCienza to pinch run. Mike made it to third base on a fielder's choice. Then he scored the winning run on a sacrafic fly by Aram Mulhern.
