The Gray's win in come back fashion scoring 3 in the 7th. Bret Samboy got his first start of the year throwing 3 2/3 innings. Samboy ran into some trouble in the 4th as the Red Sox strung together 4 hits, plating 5. Tom Plumitallo helped close out the 4th and Matt Ferro shut the door the rest of the way, throwing 3 scoreless innings striking out 5. Ferro led the Gray's offense scoring 2 runs on 3 hits. Holden French also picked up 3 hits including a clutch single in the 7th to keep the Gray's rally alive. Phil Carignan, Trey Benitez and Zac Stiffler all added hits in the 7th allowing the Gray's to take the lead for good. Ferro had no problem closing the door in the bottom of the 7th but got some help from Rob Prenovitz who made an incredible diving play to end the game. The Gray's seem to be clicking at the right time and will test that against the Sox this Saturday.
