The Red Dog bats came out hot in Game 2 after a disappointing loss in Game 1 of the doubleheader with the Indians. The Red Dog offense was led by Ryan (Bash) O'Neill (2-4, 2B, 3RBI, 2SB) and Chris Tully (3-4, 2B, RBI, 2R), while also getting solid contributions up and down the lineup. Kenny Izbicki came out looking dominant early, not allowing a runner to reach 2nd base until the 5th inning. Izbicki pitched a solid 5.1 innings, striking out 3 and giving up only 4 hits for his 2nd win of the season. The ball was then turned over to the Red Dogs workhorse, Jeff Tully, earning his first save of the season, pitching 1.2 innings while striking out 2 Indians. The game ended in true Red Dog fashion. With the tying run on first and 2 outs, the Indians' Glen McElwee laced a ball to left centerfield. A ball which certainly would have tied the game at the very least, until an amazing diving catch by Matt Butcher out of nowhere clinched
