9am comes early in Brockton (especially if you're out til 4:30) and Waltham must have left their gloves at home so it's a good thing they brought the bats. Countless errors and several non-error miscues might have made this one of the worse defensive games Waltham has ever played with the exception of a Colin Confoey diving catch in center and a nice running catch by Miguel Walker in left, but they did pack the bats. Brockton had an early lead until the Waltham bats woke up. Dana Levensaler led the way going 4-5 and picked up the win on the hill and Mike Barthel had a multi hit game.
