Rookie Chris Johnson made his Royals pitching debut this past Sunday and was nothing short of dominant. He silenced the Nationals bats all game allowing only an infield single as he cruised to a complete game shutout . The Royals bats picked up some timely hits as Gary Carmona and Derek Palatino picked up RBI singles in the first and third innings respectively.
