In the bottom of the 4th Tolenano led off with a double and was later knocked in on a single from Alcorta to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead. Day had an RBI single in the 6th to tie it at 1-1. Aranda singled and eventually scored the winning run on Quinlan's RBI single in the 8th. Cox walked with the bases loaded and Lavarnway scored the final run of the game. Day fought out of a couple of jams and allowed zero walks. Alicea looked great through 7 but just ran out of gas in the extra inning.
