Classic pitchers dual. Jimmy McDonald pitch masterfully for Natick in a complete game shutout. The games only run was scored in the bottom of the ninth when pinch hitter Mark Gafur reached base on an infield hit, pinch runner Mike Baldner was advanced to third on a wild pitch and a FC. Then Doug Flutie's Line drive Sacifrice Fly to deep center plated Baldner giving Natick the 1-0 win. Great defense and pitching by both teams.
