In yet another pitcher's duel, which seem to be the norm early this season, the Tides pushed one run across in the top of the sixth which proved to be the winner. Dave Iava was impressive on the hill, recording seven strikeouts and giving up only three hits. Thom "hit em where they aint" Holdgate, scored the winner after his infield single. The pitcher for Lexington was great, I only know that his name was Chuck, as they did not give us his name for the book. He truly was a tough luck loser as it appeared that we could have played all night before someone was going to put some hits together.
