The Reds stayed undefeated on Opening Day defeating the Greys 18-4. Scott Boruchow picked up his first career MABL win giving up four runs on five hits over five innings. Josh Conklin relieved with two scoreless innings. The offense was led by Chris Chase who scattered three hits including a grand slam in the seventh inning which brought home four of his seven RBIs. Sean Magee also picked up three hits and scored five runs on the day. Others with multiple hits included: Matt Bloomer (2), Derek Garabedian (2) and Tony Ramos (3). For the Greys Steven Joseph drove in two runs in the fifth inning with a bases loaded single.
