Pinch hitter Conrad Paquette's sacrfice fly plated the winning run in this game suspended with one out in the bottom of the seventh from Aug. 21. The Cards had first and second with one out when the lights when out. And when the game resumed, Jeff James reached on an error before Paquette stroked a fly ball to left. Jay Day took the win in relief and Kit Kadlec got the loss. Dan Jalbert and Billy MacDougall each had three hits for the Cards. Kadlec had three hits and three RBIs for the Mets.
