The Grays win a pitchers duel in game 2 of the double header. Tom Plumitallo and Avery Ford battled all game with each throwing a CG for their respective teams. Plumitallo gave up 1 run on 7 hits over 7 to get the win. The Surgeons took an early 1-0 lead in the 2nd inning on a 2 out base hit. Ford had silenced the Grays at bats for the first half of the game until Bret Samboy opened up the offense with an opposite field solo shot in the 4th. Plumitallo followed with a single and was eventually driven in by Brett Nowlin a few batters later. The Gray's have finally climbed out of their early season 1-6 hole and now sit at 10-10 on the season. They're back at it again Tuesday against the Sox in Somerville.
