The Cambridge Spinners prevented a season sweep by the Boston Sox with a 4-3 win on a sweltering night in Malden. Tied 3-3 in the fifth, Nick Sieber singled and scored on a Jordan DeDonato single to take the lead for good. Sieber led the offense with two hits and scored twice. Mark Killoren, Colin Sullivan and Pete Allain all drove in runs for the win. Down 3-1 in the fifth, Rommel Peguero doubled to left-center field and drove in two runs. Brendan Pounds also scored after being hit by a pitch in the third and later scoring on a fielder's choice. Chris Muse-Fisher earned the win, pitching 4.2 innings with seven strikeouts.
