The Marlins got off to a quick start, plating 3 in the first, but the A's battled back to tie it with 1 in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th off Marlins starter Chris Ruiz. After Marlins reliever Ben Lodge got out of a 2nd and 3rd no out jam in the top of the 7th to leave the score tied at 3, Tim Deveaux singles to lead off the bottom of the 7th, manager Jeff Buxton is hit by a pitch, and Scot Leslie singles up the middle for a Marlins walk-off win.
