The Spinners made it eight wins in a row with a 2-0 win over the Singing Surgeons. Mike Knell drove in the only runs of the game in the third with his 30th career triple. Nick Sieber and Colin Sullivan scored both runs. Four pitchers combined for the shutout. Nick Bonofiglio started the game, with Chris-Muse Fisher picking up his first win of the season. Pat Donahoe kept the Surgeons off the board in the 6th and Pat Clapp came on in the 7th for the save. Avery Ford pitched a complete game for the Surgeons with three strikeouts.
