In a see-saw battle, the Cambridge Spinners took game one of the semi-final series 9-4. Tied 3-3 in the sixth, Mike Navarro recorded his third hit of the game and later scored on a Matt Gioia single. It would be the first of five for the Spinners. Nick Bonofiglio earned the win in relief, replacing starter Luc Kocher in the fifth. He recorded two strikeouts in his appearance. Alen Benson and Colin Sullivan had three hits each and Mike Knell drove in three runs. Nick Tapper scored two runs for the Athletics while Tom McIntyre led the offense with two hits.
