For the fourth year in a row, the Cambridge Spinners are in the finals. They punched their ticket with an 8-0 win over the Middleboro Red Sox, winning the series in a three game sweep. The Spinners broke the game open in the fourth with plate patience and timely hitting. Colin Sullivan singled and drove in a run to start the scoring and Ryan Feeney ripped a bases-loaded triple and drove in three of his four runs on the game. Pat Donahoe pitched six shutout innings, giving up just two hits while striking out three. Nolan Pandolfi came on in relief in the seventh and kept the Red Sox off the board. The Spinners will now face the Boston Sox in the finals.
