The Senators got out to an early lead in Game 1 of the doubleheader, scoring three runs in the first inning. They added three more in the third inning which was more than enough offense. Pitcher, Jason Erhardt, continued his great start in the CABL with his third complete game and second shut out. The Simpson brothers drove in 4 of the Senators 6 runs while Matt Giurleo broke his 2nd bat of the season (and his 3rd in game 2).
