A's MOVE TO 8-3; NOTCH 150th FRANCHISE WIN. The Spinners struck first when Bobby Maccioli and Danny Caceres led off the 3rd with two singles. Maccioli then scored on a double-play ball. The A's answered the call in the bottom half. Brendan Huber led off with a single, and Andrew Billig walked. Alan Donaruma loaded the bases on a bunt single. Bo McIntyre was hit by a pitch to bring in the first run. Warren Asdornvuttikrai brought in another on a fielder's choice. Then Jay Lamoureux smacked a triple to deep right and send home two more Athletics. The Spinners took advantage of erratic A's pitching in the 6th to work several walks. The Spinners' Mike Mori then singled to right center to plate two runs and tie the game. In the bottom of the 7th, the A's Billig led off with a hit by pitch. Donaruma then looked to sacrifice him to 2nd. But the throw to first sailed high, allowing Billig to score the walk-off run.
