A's OVER GRAYS IN 8 The A's Nick Barton hit a walk off single in the eighth to cap a come-from-behind win for the A's and his 3 for 4 day at the plate. The A's struck first. Jay Lamoureux doubled down the right field line, and Brett O'Keefe singled him in to put the A's up 1-0. The Grays fought back a few innings later. Dan Field reached on a walk, and was later driven in by Prenovitz on a single In the 7th, the Grays took a 2-1 lead, taking advantage of an HBP and error. Anthony Montone then hit a sacrifice fly to left to plate the go-ahead run. In the bottom half, Lamoureux led off with a single and soon stole 2nd. Andrew Billig then doubled him home to tie the game up. O'Keefe held the Grays at bay in the top of the 8th. In the bottom of the 8th, Dave Clarke singled up the middle to start the inning. Bo McIntyre followed suit with a grounder up the middle, and Barton capped it with the walk-off hit.
