The very next half inning after Ed Bernstein comes on in relief with first and third one out and shuts the door, Towne pushes four runs across in the 8th and takes Game 1. Grant Bowen and Tim Corey knocked in early runs for Towne. But, TJO came back on Joe Lyons double, Max Hart's triple and Mike Pisano's single to tie it. Corey got the winning rally started with a walk. Alex Holt had a well-placed bunt single, Connor Farrell knocked in a run as did Chris Hoyt (2 hits, walk, SB, two runs scored) and Billy Collins. TJO loaded the bases in the bottom of the 8th, but Bernstein sealed the victory. Tom Ryan (TC) and Dan Long (TJO) had hooked up in a great duel into the 7th.
