Palmer improves to 8-1 with great pitching, clean defense, and timely hitting. The only thing that seemed be able to get to Palmer starting pitcher Joey Lucier were the snipers in the trees in the bottom of the 4th, which lead to an epic barrel roll. Lucier was in control from the get go, tossing 5 scoreless innings while striking out 6 and allowing just 3 hits to pick up his first Park League win of the season. Palmer's offensive attack was lead by Jim Pierce (3-4), Shane Stande (2-2, 2 BB, RBI), and Brian Medairos (2-4, 2 RBI, SB).
