It took 11 innings to put this one in the books. Tim Dacey picked up the victory on the mound as he was excellent in relief despite the heat and humidity. The Braves were 1 strike away from defeat, but John Jones collected a key RBI batting a two strike pitch into left field which tied the game in the top of the 9th to send this one to extras. John Viola doubled in the 11th and went on to score the game winner. Otis Lester led the offense going 3 for 6 on the day with 3 RBI's. A total team effort was had in this win.
