Braves even their record to 1 and 1 with a 5-3 victory over Waltham. Bobby Austin picks up the win with five strong innings followed by good efforts from Stephenson and Worthley. Waltham makes it interesting in the bottom of the 9th but Braintree holds on. Stephenson has the big hit for the Braves, hitting the top of the fence just missing a grand slam. Ferbert,, Stephenson and Strassmann pick up the RBI's. Torrance McNeil has three hits for Waltham. Ziegler pitches well before tiring in the 5th.
