Nick Martinho doubled in two runs in the second that gave Lexington the lead for good as the Blue Sox won the first game of their semifinal series 4-1 over Reading. Chas Agrillo singled in Martinho for a 3-1 Lexington lead. Matt McEvoy hit a leadoff home run in the sixth to account for the final run. Reading took a 1-0 lead when Alex Fischer (single) scored from third on a Lexington error. Matt Karis, 1-0, pitched a complete game for the win with eight strikeouts. Colin McGinn, 0-1, also went the distance for Reading with three strikeouts.
