Matt Deeb led off the season with a homerun to spark an Opening Day win for the Ben's Dream White Sox over MABL's newest addition, the Erie Pub Red Sox. Andrew Hubbard notched the win, going 6 innings with 12 K's. Rookie additions came up big for the Sox as Rob Linn went 4-5 with 5 RBI, Jon Naumowicz crushed a triple and scored 3 times, and TJ Gardner went 2-3 with 2 RBI and threw a scoreless 7th inning. The Red Sox scored 2 in the 6th when Sam DelVecchio laced an RBI double to right-center and Chris Stockbridge singled him home. Errors killed the Red Sox as they managed a whopping 11 errors in the game!
