The M's EJ Freni and the O's Bryan Healey went at it again, with last year's Acton game resulting in a 1-0 Mariner win and an all out pitching duel. This year? Not so much. Both sides broke out the lumber and notched 17 runs and 17 hits between the two clubs, with the M's Wade Briggs getting the O's Jordan Krall to line out with the tying run on base to end the game. For the M's, Frank Rich, Dave Salafia and Jamie Aldoupolis had multi-hit games, as did the O's draftee Bill Connor. The M's Corey Aldoupolis and the O's Jordan Krall each had solo homeruns. Pat Walters picked up the win in relief.

The Aldoupolis Brothers fueled the offense; Krall went deep on opening day
