The Gray's bats stayed hot to help them to an 8-6 victory over the A's in Somerville. Jared Walsh went 3 for 3 from the lead off spot while Tom Plumitallo drove in 4 runs to lead the offense. Joff Smith and Holden French contributed with timely hits driving in 2 each. Plumitallo got the win although the A's battled all game getting 6 across on the starter. Brian Maloney relieved Plumitallo in the 6th retiring 6 straight batters for the save. The Grays are back in action Saturday AM against the Cardinals in Quincy.
