Cannon jumped to an early lead an never looked back. Hits by McCue, Colon, and Hemmer got the scoring going in the first. Dave Volante was masterful on the mound for Cannon giving up only 2 hits through the first 5 innings. McCue added insurance in the 4th with a 2 run single after a Bauer triple and walk to Neshe. Another Bauer triple in the 6th added one more when Neshe drove him in.
