In a tight back and forth battle, the Royals rallied for 1 run in the top of the 7th to win against the conference rival White Sox. Felix Villalobos went 3 for 4 with a triple, and scored the winning run. Greg Kosc had the game winning RBI with a 1-out double. Josh Gordon led off with a single in the bottom of the 7th, but was caught stealing on a great throw by Villalobos. Dan Cawley captured his first MABL victory as he pitched in relief of Jason Kurtz. The two combined to hold the White Sox to 6 runs (1ER) off of only 4 hits.

Mike Malin and Nick Newman both had perfect days. Malin was 2 for 2 with a walk and 2RBI. Newman was 2 for 2 with a triple, an RBI, 2 Runs, and was hit by a pitch. For the White Sox, James Baldyga was 1 for 3 with 3RBI on the day.
