The Reds pull off the last inning comeback to prevent a season series sweep at the hands of the Tigers. The game was an excellent pitching duel between Brian Houlding and David Callaghan. The two pitchers combined for zeroes until the Tigers took the lead in the 6th thanks to two errors by Nowlin and a key single by Scott Stevens. In the bottom of the 7th, the bottom of the Reds order found a way to get on with 2 HBP's for Altmann and Pope followed by an rbi single for Ciano to cut the lead to one. Garabedian took a walk to set the stage for Nowlin redeeming himself with a 2-rbi walk off double. Good luck to the Tigers the rest of the way.
