The Knights faced off against the Saints in a rematch of Monday's game where the Saints won and took over first place in the Yaz division. This game was a crazy one with the Knights plating 7 runs in the first 2 innings to take a 7-0 lead and looked to roll early. The Saints did not give up though scoring the next 8 runs in the next 4 innings to take an 8-7 lead capped by a go ahead solo shot homerun by Brendan Klaes. The Knights battled back though in the top of the sixth inning. With 2 outs and a runner on second Matt Rodriguez hit a clutch single that scored Jose Paulino for the tying run. The Knights then scored 5 runs in the top of the 8th to win the game. Branden Eaton took the hill in the 6th and pitched 1 and 2/3 innings for his league leading 6th victory. Offensively for the Knights, Rodriguez (3-3 4RBI 2SB 1R) and McBride(2-4 1HR 4RBI 1SB 2R) led the way for the home town team.
