Backed by a strong pitching performance by Dan Blomerth and a strong defense, the Spinners closed out the regular season with a 4-0 shutout win over the Somerville Senators. Blomerth itched six innings, giving up just one hit. The infield was busy all night, as they converted 11 ground ball outs. Sean Merrigan led the Spinners offense with two hits and scored a run.
