In a thrilling season finale, the Spinners outlasted the Red Sox 6-3. Tied 3-3 after eight innings, Cambridge erupted for three runs to put the game out of reach. Kevin Luciano reached base on an error and scored on a Colin Sullivan single. Sullivan and Greg Megerdichian scored on an error later in the inning. Four Spinners pitchers helped lead the pace, with Dan Blum picking up the win and Patrick Clapp picking up the save, Blum went three and a third innings, giving up two hits and striking out five.
