The Spinners advanced to 5-0 on the season with a 6-1 win over the Red Sox. Despite playing with a short bench and w/ only eight fielders for one inning (due to an incorrect ruling -rule 6.10 of the MLB) Cambridge held onto the lead and widened their first place lead. Bryan Goossens pitched a complete game, giving up one earned run on four hits, while striking out seven. Isaac Valdiviezo had two hits and scored twice to lead the offense. Mike Tufo and Ryan Feeney each had two hits and Mark Killoren drove in a run. Zachary Walker had three strikeouts for the Red Sox and scored the team's only run in the fourth. Nick Radcliffe had two hits for Middleboro.
