Starting pitchers Sean Stephenson (GM/ME) and Zack Wensley (ADSL) keep the opposing bats quiet through three innings. GM/ME then strikes first with two runs in the top of the 4th, matched by two ADSL runs in the bottom. ADSL takes the lead in the bottom of the 6th on a throwing error setting up an epic 7th. With bases loaded no outs in the top half, Chris Kustigian, pinch hitting, hits a hard ground ball up the middle through a drawn in infield scoring two. Then with two outs (on strike outs) and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Cesar Franco is intentionally walked setting the stage for a first pitch grand slam by Sean Stephenson putting the lead at five. But ADSL was not done. With three home runs (Freeman, McManus, and Riley) in the bottom of the 7th, ADSL gets within one as winning pitcher, John Hernandez, induces a ground ball to second to end the game.
