Fans were treated to a 10 inning game that had it all, except a winner. Perry (7k's) and Campion battle through 4 when GM threatens but Cannon turns a triple play. Scoring starts in the 5th when Crivello leads off with a triple and comes home on Ferbert's double, who later scores on Salvucci's double. Ferbert scores again in the 7th on Tenaglia's sac fly. Cannon loads the bases in the 7th and Flannery drives in their first run with a fielders choice. With 2 out, Sabatino grounds to the pitcher who throws it away allowing Cannon to tie the game. Knotted until the 10th when Carrera leads off with a walk and later scores on Findley's single for the lead. Sabatino does the same in the bottom and scores on Cotter's hit. Threatening with bases loaded, Wells gets the last batter to ground out and end the game.
