Towne Club won its 11th of 12 games and drew even with first place Palmer in the standings with a come from behind win on Steven Gilbert's two-out RBI single up the middle in the bottom of the seventh. Dana Dresser got the winning rally started with his second base hit of the night; then Grant Bowen drove a deep double to left-center to score Dresser from first and tie the game. Ryan Rizzo pinch-ran for Bowen and stole third. He was later forced at the plate, but Tim Corey rode home on Gilbert's base hit. Eric Williams had held Towne to three hits and no walks over the first six, and the only threat Towne had was when they knotted the score in the 4th on Alex Venditti's double and Dresser's RBI single. Mike Stefaniak went the first 6 1/3 for Towne, allowing only six hits and two unearned runs. Connor Farrell picked up the win by getting the final out in the top of the 7th with two runners aboard.
