What started as a pitchers duel ended in one of the wildest finishes in a long time. Long for TJO gave up one hit through 6 innings and Tom Simas for Cannon only gave up 4, the last was a single to Pisano that gave TJO the lead. Bottom 7, Allen leads off with a walk off Mullrey. The next 2 batters strike out. Allen steals second and advances to 3rd on the overthrow. Cacciatore with 2 strikes on him breaks his bat and hops it to the pitcher who throws it away, sending Cacciatore to 2nd. Flannery then grounds a ball to first and beats it out when Johnson can't seem to pick it out of the dirt and get to the bag. With runners on the corners, Sabatino (with 2 strikes on him) singles in the tying run. Colon comes up and with 2 strikes, singles to right and Flannery slides in just ahead of the tag for the walk off.
