The White Sox prevailed in a hard fought, back-and-forth game. Anthony Tomaro earned his 2nd win of the season throwing 5 gritty innings and helped his cause with a 2-run single in the first. Rookie Jovan Moxley picked up the 2-inning save.

The White Sox took a 6-2 lead into the 4th inning when Ned Coffee blasted a 3-run homer for the Cutters on a hanging Tomaro curveball. Ivan Clemente, who was 2-3 with 2 rbi, hit a sac-fly in the bottom of the 4th to extend the Sox lead to 7-5.

The Cutters threatened in the 6th picking up a run on two hits. With runners on 1st & 2nd and 1 out, Tomaro, now playing third, turned a beautiful 5-3 double-play to maintain the Sox lead, which eventually held up.

For the Cutters, Booch set the table collecting 2 hits and scoring 3 runs. Greg Crossman also had 2 hits. For the Sox, TJ Gardner reached base 4 times out of the leadoff spot, scored 2 runs and had 2 hits.
