Having previously played the Diamondbacks and Eire Pub Red Sox, the Brewers represented the final new franchise that the M's had yet to face. The Mariners jumped out to an early 4-0 lead due in part to a Steve Limoges bases clearing triple. But the Brew Crew hung in and chipped away at the M's lead. Trailing 6-5 in the top of the 7th, with a runner on 3rd and two outs, Chris Dowd hit a hard line drive that the M's Jamie Aldoupolis was able to snag for the final out. Aside from Steve Limoges' 3-RBI triple, Jamie Aldoupolis went 2-2 with an RBI, and Chris Corde went 2-4 with a double and an RBI. Matt Dumont picked up his second win of the season, and Joe Perna nailed down the save. For the Brewers, Wayne Mackay went 3-4 with a double, RBI, and 3 runs scored.
