On a great beach day, the Rangers and Cutters found plenty of sand at Garvey Playground in Dorchester. Doug Rexrode went 6 strong innings for the 'Gers, earning the win. Behind Rexrode, the Rangers played error-free defense under tough field conditions. The Blue and Red will be happy to return home after a month-long road trip. The Rangers got off to a quick start in the first 3 innings. Andy Katz led off the game with a single, and scored on a Davin Wilfrid sac fly. The Ranger youth movement (Chris Dutton and Tim Brady) set the table in the 2nd and later scored. In the 3rd, Jason Skypeck drove in two more runs with a bases loaded single. Wilfrid and Skypeck each had two hits. Chris Dutton reached base all four of his plate appearances and scored 3 runs.

Rexrode and Skypeck
